The Chequers is an Indian Restaurant/Pub located in East Cambridgeshire, UK. The pub landlord asked for a stylish re-design of their existing menu with use of their new logo and a gold gradient. I was given full creative freedom over the layout of the menu, so I decided to go for a 5 column layout and put the most popular items in the middle column as that is where people tend to look first.
To highlight the second area of hierarchy, I added a gold gradient border around the 'Street Food Menu'. This menu was designed during the peak of the pandemic where people we're having to eat meals outside in the UK so the emphasis on quick and easy street food made sense.
This menu is currently being used by the Chequers with minor tweaks being made every-so-often.
